CMD will feature its two subscription websites in our showcase. Both sites offer downloadable, customizable sessions and handouts, and provide access for all your parish leaders.
Fashioning Faith is an affordable subscription website that helps make lifelong faith formation a reality for your community while working with the resources and approaches you are currently using for age-specific catechesis. Utilizing the four settings of Catholic parish life, this website provides plans and programs for intergenerational faith formation, home/family faith growth, age-specific faith learning, and individual learning in the context of daily life.
Fashioning Faith connects faith formation to all areas of parish life, offers faith formation in gathered and non-gathered ways, and provides plans for lifelong faith formation for every season of the year.
Youth Ministry Access is the subscription website for adult and youth leaders in parishes and schools. YMA provides detailed designs for gathered youth nights, including numerous catechetical sessions reflecting the U.S. Bishops’ Adaptation of the Doctrinal Framework. Many parishes use the resources in YMA for their Confirmation preparation. You will also find many extended events (including retreats), justice and service ideas and projects, non-gathered strategies, and journal articles. Youth Ministry Access is the Catholic resource you need for both High School and Middle School Ministry!

Magnificat: MagnifiKid! is a Sunday Mass and prayer guide from the creators of Magnificat magazine. These colorful weekly booklets (designed for young readers ages 6 to 12) contain all of the prayers and scripture readings needed to follow Mass. This showcase will unpack the multiple ways that MagnifiKid! can be used in parishes – as a tool for religious education classes, children’s liturgy or individual children and their families in the pews. Please join us to discover new and interesting ways to help the children of your parish grow in their understanding and love of the liturgy.
How excited are you to lead your community into the Year of Faith? What an opportunity to remind people of all ages and stages of development that Baptism sets us on a lifetime journey of conversion.
Our Sunday Visitor Curriculum Division’s showcase points to our commitment to lifelong catechesis with our new bilingual products for preschool, Allelu!, and the many new Adult Resources for the Year of Faith. Of course, we will explore the VBS extravaganza, “Sky.”
Together In God’s Love: Formation for the Sacrament of Matrimony
This showcase, presented by a Clinical Psychologist and National Catechetical Consultant for Our Sunday Visitor, will highlight important themes of preparation for Catholic marriage, including faith, communication, sexuality, and stewardship. We will discuss how these themes can be presented with an integration, of Catholic teaching and the psychology of human relationships, using contemporary, active-learning approaches to adult formation.
As you continue to look for ways to build discipleship in your communities, join RCL Benziger to find out about our new “Be My Disciples” elementary curriculum and “Our Catholic Heritage” initiatory catechesis program. Both programs promise to help you in your commitment to echo our Catholic faith to future generations.
Saint Mary’s Press
Come and learn about the new Saint Mary's Press sacramental prep program, Celebrate and Remember. Celebrate and Remember prepares children for the celebration of the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation and the Sacrament of the Eucharist. Through the effective process of liturgical catechesis, preparation for these Sacraments takes place not only by learning about the rites but also through the rites that are going to be celebrated. It is a process that will result in a deeper understanding and more meaningful celebration of these important Sacraments.
Kelly Gilbert, author of Catholic Reflections, presents this innovative new K-8 series that teaches and enhances Catholic education through faith-filled journaling and discussion. The author begins with a brief introduction to the benefits of journaling. She then outlines the methodology of Catholic Reflections and how it helps students to not only learn about their faith, but to live it. She discusses the importance of making religious education relevant outside of the religion classroom, and explains how Catholic Reflections accomplishes this goal.
