Learning Sessions Learning session options will be diverse to address the issues and meet the needs of our entire membership, especially the PCLs, DDREs, and Diocesan Staff. The choices will reflect our multi-cultural membership as well as reflect the distinctive generational profiles of our constituencies. There will be opportunities for theological teaching as well as practical methodologies. General knowledge sessions or in depth learning through both TED-style and multiple sessions on one topic building from a strong foundation and branching outward are offered so that each of you can discern what best meets your needs.
NOTE: (Session descriptions, bios and pictures will be added soon)
As a Parish Catechetical Leader (PCL), I would encourage DRE's, CRE's, Pastoral Ministers, Pastoral Associates, Faith Formation directors - anyone who develops, coordinates, or conducts catechetical opportunities for any age to belong to NCCL. Being part of the national organization keeps me connected to the "big picture" in the midst of the many details of parish life! The Catechetical Leader magazine is a valuable professional resource, providing information on trends and topics, while keeping me looking ahead to what's coming. In the online CL Weekly, Lee Nagel keeps me up to speed with current information and offers an amazing array of resources and links that support ministries and feeds spirits. NCCL affirms, supports, and empowers, and celebrates catechetical ministry!
